HEATING SERVICES
Heat Exchanger Inspection
The heat exchanger, if you have gas or propane heat, transfers heat to the cooler air being pushed through the system. We inspect every heat exchanger for cracks to ensure no carbon monoxide is leaking into the duct system.
Reversing Valve Replacement
The Reversing Valve will be found in a heat pump and its job is to decide which direction refrigerant flows. These can get stuck during one operation and need adjusted or replaced.
Carbon Monoxide Test
If the heat exchanger has a crack, it will leak carbon monoxide into the air being circulated into the home. This can lead to dizziness and headaches or death. In addition to a visual inspection, we use sensors to test the interior of the home for carbon monoxide.
Fouled Flame Sensor
The Flame Sensor looks for a flame during the heating process. If the sensor does not see a flame, it will shut the system down to keep from overheating

Gas Valve Replacement
The Gas Valve controls the amount of gas that is burned for the heating process. If it does not function correctly, the system may not produce enough heat or it can overheat the system and cause it to shut down.
Draft Inducer Motor Replacement
The Draft Inducer Motor pushes the carbon monoxide out of the home safely. It vents out through the flue, likely out the roof. There is also a sensor that shuts the system down if the motor is not operating properly.
